Business Administrator from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga and Master in Business from Universidad Sergio Arboleda. She also has two specializations, one in Strategic Market Management from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga and the other in Insurance from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
Dr. Lina Barrera, in her outstanding professional career of more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sector, served as regional manager of Previsora, insurance company; deputy manager at the National Adaptation Fund; she was also, for two consecutive periods (2010-2014 and 2014-2018), Representative to the House for the Department of Santander and has just held the position of Deputy Minister of Sport.
